The day started a bit late for me. Bunked the first 2 classes to have proper sleep as i had slept a little late by normal time last night. So, day started from left 2 classes of Transport Phenomena and Process Dynamics and Control.
Usual lunch at Sindhi. Back to work for the project and then went to Udupi with Abhijeet Bhaiya for buying some stuffs for the project. Then finished up some left works in the fitting workshop. Yeah, the project is nearing the completion of the 1st phase with our model ready. We were testing it in Integrated Electronics Lab when suddenly a faculty member of E&E dept. Mr. V.B. Thomas displayed his not very cooperative attitude towards students. The way he talked to us was a clear indication of how power corrupt people have become in this world. You can say i am being rude but its a fact that everyone tries to show his power in his domain, however small the domain may be.
The world is full of disparities where on one hand we see people like VB Thomas and on the other hand we have people like Mr. K. Balakrishna Prabhu who took all pains to take our Simulink (MATLAB) training workshop with all interest and got us interested in the same. It was a great learning experience for all of us and after 2 hours of mind boggling session, we had that expression of accomplishment on our faces.
The complete testing of the model is not yet complete. We hope to finish it up by the end of this week.

of joys and sorrows..
2nd sessionals of 6th semester over, respite; joys; relief from 3 days of torture. It takes a heavy toll and you are totally exhausted at the end of the day but you have no time to relax. Stand up! Shift gears and lo- another subject stares at you.
Meanwhile IPL-3 has started. My favorite Kolkata Knight Riders have started well and yes.. IPL-3; T20 World CUp--are going to run parallel to our examinations. Twist in the Tale!

GOD IS SACHIN
Long live the king. The greatest of moment of Cricketing world was here today. Sachin-200* batted from first ball to the last ball without any chances and with an awesome strike rate. A new world record. The first batsman in the history of the game to do so.
A piece of history:it was d same day when back in 1988 when Our Lord and Vinod Kambli put up 664 together.
This is certainly one of the most memorable moment of my life
.blessed to b born in the same age as him... Tears in my eyes watching the best moment of the decade i suppose... can't help. I am a Sachin fanatic!!!! O LORD.... I BOW TO THEE!!!

Azeotropy'2010
Chemical Engineering Dept. of IIT Mumbai is conducting its annual Chemical Engineering fest on 6th and 7th of March-2010.
If things go well and according to our plans, we will be there on 6th. Many students from the class are going this time. Seems like a class trip. :)
Anyway,lets hope for the best.

back on track
Finally, the work has started and our project gets back on the track.
This is Sunday and its time for rejuvenating myself. Had a very sound sleep.
...And yeah, talking about college, Revels is approaching and students are geared up for the extravaganza. Meanwhile there has been some unfortunate controversy over the selection of the office bearers. Council had asked for application from aspirants. But nothing happened after that. You can't take just the application to select people. If you have asked for application, you have to test them personally. At least make way for an informal interview. But who cares. Many deserving candidates were left and many faces who did not deserve, got in.
But again , I wish the team all the best for the fest, Revels'10 and yes ,Parikrama is performing this time and Euphoria is also lined up for March 7th (although its not by Revels team; a senior Mr. Sushant and his team have taken the pains).
MIT is going 2 rock nd roll!!!

Mistakes
Man commits mistakes but sometimes mistakes become retakes and more retakes. I bet, you must have come across situations when you know that you are mistaking something,someone but you can't help it.
You just have to wait for all of it to get over asap. Also, sometimes being overly good costs heavily. In last couple of days, a friend of mine AJ very rightly said that being good doesn't mean being weak. I agree with the observation but taking this fact into account, this is sure that people take you as a weak person if you are overly good, if you don't show some attitude,some arrogance!!! And yes, they will constantly try to take the advantage of your being good as well as weak according to their point of view. This is like a suicide. You get killed from inside when you know that the guy concerned ,is with you for his personal ends and you can't do anything about it than seeing and let him do it without any resistance. I have been a victim to this many a times and I really don't know the way out of this. If the readers have some solution, please show some light.
